String Details

Synth - Silver - 1.25mm - Comfort & Power DESCRIPTION: Prince Lightning Pro String is an all-around performance synthetic gut tennis string designed with Powerfoil technology for explosive power and comfort. Key Technologies and Performance Features Powerfoil Technology: The standout feature of this string is a spring-loaded outer polyester Powerfoil wrap. This design creates a spring-like energy transfer upon ball contact, releasing extra pop and explosive power on impact. Broadband Wear Barrier: The outer Powerfoil wrap also acts as a protective shield. This significantly increases the string’s resistance to notches and friction, offering superior durability compared to standard synthetic guts. Balanced Construction: It features a solid nylon core surrounded by multi-filament wrappings. This design provides crisp ball control alongside a plush, vibration-reducing feel that is highly comfortable and easy on the arm. RECOMMENDED FOR: Arm-Injured Players: Players suffering from tennis elbow or wrist pain who need a soft, shock-absorbing string that is gentle on joints. Beginners and Intermediates: Players who do not generate maximum swing speed yet and need the string's spring-loaded "Powerfoil" wrap to help launch the ball deep into the court. Budget-Conscious Players: Players who want better performance than standard nylon strings but do not want to pay premium prices for natural gut or high-end multifilaments. Frequent String Breakers (in the Synthetic Category): Flat hitters who tear through standard synthetic gut quickly but do not want to switch to harsh, stiff polyester strings.
